And now, Alex Smith and Vernon Davis created their own version with “The Grab.” With 14 seconds left in the playoff game against the Saints, Alex Smith threw a perfect pass over the middle, in between three Saints’ defenders, to Davis who bounced off a few hard hits in the end zone to give the Niners a 36-32 win. This 13” x 16” frame features three triple-matted photos of the game-winning catch. A numbered certificate of authenticity describing the catch is matted between two 24kt gold-plated coins that are minted with a 49ers and an NFL logo. This limited edition collectible is officially licensed by the NFL and NFLPA.
